Joy, lightness and physical strength are the driving forces behind Mukesh’s yoga practice. His Foundational Yoga classes include elements from various practices: Pavanamuktasana joint loosening warmups, a Hatha inspired flow and mindful observation of stillness and movement. Together with the use strong motivational language and sound in the form of his own voice recited mantras, he invites you to an inward journey beyond the stories of the mind.

Coming from Rishikesh, India -the Yoga Capital of the world- Mukesh was infatuated with the principles of yogic life from his birth. His ancestors were great authentic yoga practitioners of yoga and provided him with the platform in which he could root his own yoga practice.

Physical practice has always been an important part of Mukesh’s life. For years he was a White Water and Mountain guide, did boxing and spent many hours in the gym. But in his search for authenticity in life he started moving into the practice of yoga. It showed him how to combine physical practices with the principles and traditions of the ancient Indian philosophy into which he was born and raised.

Besides teaching yoga, Mukesh performs Thai Yoga Stretching Massage. This therapeutic massage technique helps the body and mind to restore, strengthen and energize, connect to the here and now and bring deep relaxation.

The main purpose of his work is to share peace of mind and joy with people and pick them up where they are, no need to fit into any form or image. “We’re all spirits with our own human experiences.”

Foundational Yoga:

Yoga means ‘union’. It brings together body and mind by breath. Yoga cultivates health and wellbeing (physical, emotional, mental and social) through the regular practice of a range of many different techniques, including postures and movement, breath awareness and breathing exercises, relaxation and concentration, self-inquiry and meditation. The practice of yoga has a 5,000-year history in ancient Indian philosophy. Many people have come to know the physical benefits of yoga and think of it as a type of workout. But yoga is way more than that. It’s really an entire lifestyle. The postures are only one piece of it.

Foundational Yoga provides a system of increasing awareness and decreasing disease. It removes energy blockages in the physical body and improves co-ordination, self-awareness and self-confidence.

Thai Yoga Massage: 

Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing modality that was born in Thailand and only recently found its way to the West. This therapeutic style of massage combines soft tissue manipulation techniques, assisted yoga postures, breathing and meditation to bring the body into a state of deep relaxation. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that:

  • ​relieves muscular tension
  • ​improves circulation
  • ​eliminates pain
  • ​reduces stress by lowering teh level of cortisol in the body
  • ​boosts the immune system
  • ​balances the body and mind energetically through its impact on the endocrine system
  • ​makes happier by increasing endorphine levels

Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.

Personal Training:

With a combination of exercises based on physical strengthening, body movements, mind- and breath work and relaxation your personal training sessions will become your best friend in gaining a healthy, fit and happy life.

The concept is unique in its kind and has its roots in Box Fit, mobility exercises, resistance training and various yoga styles enhancing power, flexibility and balance. According to your wish and if the weather permits, a session can be mixed with a taste of outdoors activities.

Each session is tailor made. Therefor the maximum number of participants will be kept at two. But, of course one in one personal trainings are even more effective.
